CNN Producer Admits He Was “Waiting” Outside Roger Stone’s House an Hour Before Arrest
CNN producer David Shortell admitted that he was “waiting” outside Roger Stone’s house at 5am, an hour before FBI agents and police arrived to arrest the former Donald Trump associate.
Stone was arrested at 6am at his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla on a seven-count indictment which includes one count of obstruction, five counts of making false statements and one count of witness tampering.
However, Shortell subsequently gave an interview with New Day host Alisyn Camerota during which he admitted, while smiling throughout, that “we were here at 5am waiting for whatever was going to happen – it was dark – 6am just after the hour about a half dozen police vehicles with sirens….pulled in front of this Ft. Lauderdale home where Roger Stone lives.”
When questioned as to why he was outside Stone’s home over an hour before the arrest when neither Stone or his attorney even knew the raid was coming, Shortell claimed that his “reporter’s instinct” was to thank and that he “thought maybe something was happening” because of “unusual Grand Jury activity in Washington DC yesterday”.
Shortell also revealed that CNN reporters were the only journalists at the house when the arrest was made.

Wall Street Journal, The Hill Publish Fake News Story About Roger Stone & Infowars
Stone settled a defamation lawsuit on Monday by agreeing to post a retraction of false statements made about Chinese businessman Guo Wengui. Stone obtained the information from former Trump aide Sam Nunberg, which turned out to be inaccurate.
The WSJ and the Hill stories suggest that Stone’s conduct in posting information to Infowars was “irresponsible,” when in fact Stone was talking about him believing Sam Nunberg to be irresponsible.
This is a crucial difference because the smear campaign is being used to further entrench the lie that Infowars is a “fake news” website.

Roger Stone Lashes Out at Liar Adam Schiff in Attorney’s Letter
Trump confidante Roger Stone refused to produce requested documents to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.
Stone invoked the Fifth Amendment in declining the request by minority leader Dianne Feinstein.
Feinstein had requested “communications related to hacked emails, communications with Russian hackers of Wikileaks, and communications with the Trump campaign.”
Roger Stone had no communications with “Russian hackers” of Wikileaks.
Attorney Grant Smith also released this statement attacking partisan hack, leaker and liar Rep. Adam Schiff:
Despite the partisan claims of Congressman Schiff and others, Mr. Stone’s testimony was entirely accurate. Mr. Stone has released text messages that absolutely establishes Randy Credico was Mr. Stone’s source regarding the significance and the October release of the WikiLeaks information. Mr. Stone entirely rejects the contentions of Dr. Jerry Corsi, as suggested to him by the Special Counsel’s Office, that he was the source of any information pertaining to the WikiLeaks disclosures. Further, Mr. Stone’s contention that Dr. Corsi briefed him on the Podesta brothers’ lucrative dealings in Ukraine and Russia prior to his “iconic” August 21, 2016 about the brothers, is entirely supported by email and text message records.

Congress braces for Roger Stone show
After months of taunting congressional Russia investigators from afar, Roger Stone, a longtime confidant of President Donald Trump, will meet them face-to-face on Capitol Hill Tuesday in what he promises will be “epic” testimony debunking charges of collusion between the Kremlin and Trump associates.
The Republican operative will testify behind closed doors as part of the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. But officials are braced for his unique brand of theatrics before, during, and after the session, not least because Stone says he will bring a reporter and cameraman to Capitol Hill with him.
Clearly relishing his moment at the center of Washington intrigue, the flamboyant Stone wrote in a Sunday tweet that the conspiracy-peddling pro-Trump website InfoWars was “embed[ding] a reporter and cameraman in Camp Stone for my epic testimony.”
"Never pass up a chance to have sex, be on television or testify before a House Congressional Committee,” he added in another.
And a day before his appearance before the panel, Stone posted a photo of himself reading a book titled The Russians, which he captioned: “Preparing for my testimony before the House Intelligence Committee tomorrow 9am.”

Trump ally Roger Stone accuses Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner of leaking ‘fake news’ to ‘Morning Joe’
During an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, Stone called out Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner for constantly leaking dirt to Scarborough, the MSNBC host who has of late been very critical of the president’s performance.
“Sources tell me the president’s son-in-law enjoys a very lively text exchange with Joe Scarborough, and that Scarborough’s repeated attacks on Steve Bannon, not to mention some of these attacks on the president, clearly are being manipulated by Jared Kushner,” Stone said. “Any criticisms I have of the Trump administration, or any member thereof… are meant to be constructive, not destructive. But in this case, Joe Scarborough is no friend of the president, he revels in passing fake news.”
Stone went on to say that Kushner was particularly dangerous for the Trump administration because, as the husband of First Daughter Ivanka Trump, he’s “perhaps the one presidential aide who cannot be fired.”
Stone also said that Kushner was working overtime to smear top White House political strategist Steve Bannon, despite the fact that Kushner himself has a “very full” plate in handling “Middle Eastern peace and the China visit.”

Roger Stone: Ted Cruz 'is a dumb son of a bitch'
Longtime Donald Trump ally Roger Stone laid into Ted Cruz minutes after his refusal to endorse the GOP nominee on Wednesday, calling him a "dumb son of a bitch" and a "despicable human being."
Stone, who spoke to The Hill as he left the Quicken Loans Arena, warned that the Texas senator's public unwillingness to back Trump would come back to haunt him.
"By Ted Cruz not supporting the nominee, he's exempted himself from real conservatives," he said. "No voter gives a crap about what Ted Cruz does. The only person this hurts is Ted Cruz."
He continued to excoriate Cruz, whom delegates showered with boos as they realized he wasn't going to endorse Trump during his speech to the convention.
"Ted Cruz thinks he's Ronald Reagan. T he problem is he's not anything near Reagan in terms of being an inspiring, likable figure," Stone said. "He's a dumb son of a bitch who thinks he's smarter than everybody else."
"He's a despicable human being," he added
