Prolific author, AMERICAN FREE PRESS writer and seasoned Clinton researcher Victor Thorn was found at the top of a mountain near his home, the apparent victim of a gunshot wound. Family and some close friends contend Thorn took his own life on his birthday, August 1. Thorn would have been 54.
At the peak of his writing career, the author of some 20 books and 30 chapbooks, Thorn had reported for this newspaper for over a decade, writing thousands of articles on myriad subjects from conspiracy to health-related topics. Best known for his investigate research on the Clintons, Thorn wrote the Clinton trilogy—three definitive works that delved into the history of the power couple including their sordid scandals, Bill Clinton’s sexual assaults of multiple women, and the drug running out of Mena, Arkansas while Clinton was governor of the state.
Some supporters have voiced concerns that yet another prominent critic of the Clintons has turned up dead—this time just after Hillary Clinton secured the Democratic nomination.
Family has countered that there was no evidence of foul play at the scene and that Thorn most likely took his own life.
At this time, however, we are looking into all possibilities. The recent release of Crowning Clinton: Why Hillary Shouldn’t Be in the White House and the Hillary (And Bill) trilogy, which has been selling off the shelves at AFP recently—exposing all the dirty secrets the Clintons have tried so hard to conceal over the years—certainly provides a motive for murder.

Tracking Patriots Like Terrorists
As a direct result of a heavy-handed and very public lobbying campaign carried out by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), easily one of the most un-American organizations operating on United States soil today, the Justice Department (DoJ) has announced the creation of the Domestic Terrorism Counsel, which is specifically tasked with identifying, analyzing, and combating domestic terrorism and homegrown extremism.
The obvious concern for advocates of free speech and thought in the U.S. is that anyone voicing any sort of criticism toward the federal government, its policies or the various lobbying organizations shaping and influencing its agenda could now be considered a “domestic terrorist” who must be dealt with.
The Domestic Terrorism Counsel, a position designed to track and coordinate federal investigations into domestic terrorism, will work with and serve as a liaison between a variety of federal agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and various departments within the DoJ, along with private intelligence and lobbying organizations, such as the SPLC.
J. Richard Cohen, who serves as the president of the SPLC, lauded the DoJ’s move, which came about as a direct result of his organization’s pressure, arguing that the decision reflected “a renewed and long-overdue focus on violent homegrown extremism.”

Reporter Admits Most Media Work for CIA, MI6, Mossad
AMERICAN FREE PRESS frequently exposes the noxious collaborators with tyranny who operate the mainstream media. Now a courageous German former journalist, Dr. Udo Ulfkotte, has written a powerful new bestselling book that exposes the rampant cooperation of the “Fourth Estate” with the world’s largest intelligence agencies, trans-Atlantic organizations, banks, corporations and billionaires, making it into a political “fifth column.”
The book, Gekaufte Journalisten (literally, “Bought Journalists”), is not yet in English, but this writer interviewed Ulfkotte on October 17 to bring this newspaper’s readers his stunning revelations. Admitting first his own guilt of participating in the destructive underworld of journalism, Ulfkotte fearlessly names other collaborators in his latest work and calls for a return to a free and morally-upright press. The book has garnered worldwide interest, but the German journalistic establishment is giving it the “silent treatment”—and worse.
Ulfkotte, 54, was raised in a devout Christian family and even educated at a religious school. During early adulthood, like many young people, he began investigating other beliefs. At the university in Freiburg in Breisgau he took an interest in law and Islamic studies. He became fluent in Arabic—important for his future, albeit unintended, career.
During college in the 1980s, Ulfkotte also was recruited into the world of espionage. Prior to a particular semester break, when he hoped to visit Italy and meet young women, a professor asked if he would like to attend a two-week seminar in Bonn on the East-West conflict. This was during the Cold War in a divided Germany. Ulfkotte was not at all interested, but university professors in Germany were (and are) highly respected. It was difficult to refuse.
He was promised that his travel would be paid for, as well as lodging and meals, and he would receive spending money into the bargain. For a young man from poor economic circumstances, this was too much. Relates Ulfkotte, “I suddenly felt this deep feeling inside me that I had ‘always’ wanted to go” to such a seminar. Such “innocent” beginnings were the first bribes, which would draw him ever deeper into a widespread network of corruption and spying, where no one considered such behavior immoral, but rather “accepted practice.”

AFP Plays Role in Cantor’s Dramatic Ouster
Information first developed and brought to national attention by AMERICAN FREE PRESS played a critical role in the effort by grassroots voters in orchestrating the primary election defeat on June 10—by a little-known, cash-starved challenger—of House Majority Leader Representative Eric Cantor (R-Va.), in a surprise upset the national media described as “shocking.”
AFP articles by this writer exposing Cantor’s big money connections—published on November 14, 2010, November 29, 2010 and November 4, 2011 and later widely picked up on the Internet—were widely distributed throughout his Richmond-area district by grassroots activists over the past several years and during the recent campaign, contributing to the perception, among voters, that Cantor’s focus—the interests of big money contributors—was out of touch with the needs of his constituents.
In fact, it was Cantor’s access to big money (and some of it coming, as AFP reported, from dubious sources) that made him a power in the Republican caucus in the House in the first place.
A Talmud-centered Orthodox practitioner ubiquitously described in almost worshipful terms by the media as “the only Republican Jew in Congress,” and as “the most senior Jewish official in government,” Cantor was repudiated by voters who, by a wide margin, chose David Brat, an economics professor from Randolph-Macon College.
Although Brat only had $200,000 in the bank—whereas Cantor’s campaign coffers held some $5 million, nearly a million of which was spent by Cantor in television advertising and direct-mail hit pieces attacking Brat—Brat reminded voters that Cantor was making noises sympathetic to amnesty for illegal aliens.

Bilderberg Update: Day 4 — It’s a Wrap!
Key central bankers who attend Bilderberg most years include Federal Reserve Chairmen, as well as high officials with the European Central Bank.
Many activists agreed that returning money creation to sovereign, public control—without interest—would effectively disarm the system that sustains Bilderberg.
Indeed, closing the book on Bilderberg and ending this group’s meetings and influence must remain the true purpose for reporting on, protesting and exposing Bilderberg, as this reporter and others argued.
Stay tuned for more on this website and in the pages of AFP for insights into Bilderberg’s current agenda and more on who attended in 2014.
Other highlights to note in this summary of Bilderberg 2014 are:
Danish police arrested a Czech journalist who apparently considered mounting a camera on a small, sophisticated drone. The videographer spent a night in jail and was reportedly fined $5,000, even though the drone apparently never left the protest zone.
The police also detained and questioned a Danish documentary-maker for about two hours. Police vaguely claimed he was connected with some kind of potential physical threat related to the Bilderberg protest. He told this reporter he was released after using the detainment to lecture police on basic civics, democratic government and facts about Bilderberg.

The Real Mandela (Published Online 7/24/2013)
As South Africa’s 95-year-old Nelson Mandela lies in the hospital, the worldwide media portrays him as a larger-than-life heroic figure and the liberator of his people. But is that truth or fiction? And how will honest historians judge him?
The official story goes something like this: Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in 1918 into the Thembu tribe’s royal family. He studied law at two prestigious universities and became involved in “anti-colonial politics,” joining the African National Congress (ANC). He was committed to non-violent protest in gaining sovereignty for blacks. In 1962 he was arrested and convicted of sabotage and conspiracy to overthrow the government and was sentenced to life in prison.
An international campaign lobbied for his release, which was granted in 1990, and he was hailed as martyr of white racism by the international media. This popularity propelled him to be elected president of South Africa in 1994, where he continued with his struggle to “end ethnic tensions and bring about racial equality.” Over the years, Mandela has received over 250 awards, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Soviet Order of Lenin.
That’s the official story. His critics, however, have a different opinion.

That’s the official story. His critics, however, have a different opinion.
They point to the fact that Mandela was not imprisoned for opposing apartheid, or segregation, in Africa, but for being a communist terrorist murderer-bomber in service to the Soviet Union.
The ANC’s guerrilla force, known as uMkhonto we Sizwe—MK, or “Spear of the Nation”—was founded in 1961 by Mandela and his advisor, the Lithuanian-born communist Jew Joe Slovo, born Yossel Mashel Slovo, who was officially named secretary general of the South African Communist Party in 1986.
Slovo had been the planner of many of the ANC terrorist attacks, as detailed in the book Victory or Violence: The Story of the AWB of South Africa, including the January 8, 1982 attack on the Koeberg nuclear power plant near Cape Town, the Church Street bombing on May 20, 1983, which killed 19 people, and the June 14, 1986 car-bombing of Magoo’s Bar in Durban, in which three people were killed and 73 injured.

Russian President Putin Deserves Nobel Peace Prize
In one swift measure—working in conjunction with the besieged Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad—Russian President Vladimir Putin has spared the United States the ignominy of once again getting involved in a foolish and needless war in the Middle East.
The truth is that Putin—the leader of the Cold War colossus that was America’s presumed “enemy” for so long—did what the battle-tested leaders of the American military wanted. He put a stop to the attack on Syria the pro-Israel lobby, standing virtually alone, was demanding Congress endorse in spite of overwhelming opposition from the American public.
In taking such a stand, they were endorsed by the large majority of the American people, who have come to realize—after a decade of disastrous intervention in the Middle East—that such wars (and let’s call them what they are: wars on behalf of Israel’s imperial designs) are not in the best interests of the United States or the world for that matter.
Putin may well have averted a third world war, and—if the reaction of Israel’s cheerleaders is being judged correctly—he has also put a roadblock in the way of Israel’s continuing push for America to wage war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, a longtime ally of the secular regime of Syrian leader Assad.

Time for Americans to ‘Occupy the Pentagon’
While Americans continue to make their voices heard via the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement, maybe they should next focus their attention on an even wealthier, more exploitative crowd: The Pentagon.
The military-industrial-banking complex’s budget breakdown for 2012 is so extraordinary, it’s doubtful that the average person can conceive of such astronomical numbers. The Department of Defense (DoD) is seeking $707.5 billion, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) wants $46.9 billion, and in a category labeled “Interest on debt incurred in past wars,” the number is between $109.1 billion to $431.5 billion. All this is estimated to be as high as $1.415 trillion for one fiscal year.
Inside Defense magazine also reported on Unified Quest 2011 in a November 2010 article entitled “Army Officials Think Through the What-ifs of a Global Economic Collapse,” wherein it was revealed: “Officials picked the scenario of a worldwide economic collapse because it was deemed a plausible course of events given the current global security environment. In such a future, the United States would be broke, causing a domino effect that would push economies across the globe into chaos.”
Tracing the government’s contingency plans back even further—to 2008—we find The Washington Post and Russia Today both reporting on the Pentagon’s plans to train 20,000 troops by 2011 to help as a response to threats of a possible mass terror attack or civil unrest following an economic collapse.
Will those troops now be deployed on the streets of America? An even more relevant question might be: Will those troops exact the same toll on this nation as they did to the one they just left?
