NY SLIMES PRETENDS USS LIBERTY ATTACK NEVER HAPPENED

Not content with the territory that it had already stolen back in 1947, Israel, ever playing the role of victim, initiated what became known as The Six Day War on June 7, 1967. The one-sided fight pitted US-armed Israel against the Arab states of Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. Hoping to bring the US into the war so that the Arab states could be annihilated in one fell swoop, Israeli jets and torpedo boats deliberately attacked the USS Liberty, a helpless communications ship on patrol in the Mediterranean Sea, near Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.

The sustained daytime attack, which took place as the US flag flew visibly, killed 34 Americans, wounded 170, and badly damaged the vessel. Many of the dead and wounded lost their lives due to fighter jets firing upon their life boats. The Israelis finally called off the slaughter when they thought that help may have been on the way (a Russian vessel was also in the area). Our noble allies then claimed that the assault on the USS Liberty was a case of "mistaken identity." Of course, the government of Zion's wholly-owned US President, the utterly contemptible Lyndon Baines Johnson, with the complicity of Offense Secretary Robert McNamara and Admiral John McCain Sr. (father of Senator McCain the Insane), accepted Zion's ridiculous claim and closed the book. And Congress didn't dare to investigate the matter either.

But the detailed accounts of this dastardly war crime, given by American survivors, clearly contradict the Zionist lie. Their testimonies haven't wavered to this day. The object of the false-flag attack was to sink the Liberty, machine-gun any survivors, blame Egypt, and thus draw the US into a war on Israel's side. In spite of the US government's complicit cover-up after the fact, more than a few high-powered men rejected the "mistaken identity" narrative.

Patriotism Has Been Turned Against Patriots

To understand how screwed-up America is, consider that patriotism is now associated with the suppression of dissent.

Rich football team owners, who know nothing of the hard lives of most Americans, and the police, who routinely shoot down black people in the streets and in their homes without accountability or due process, are incensed that three Miami Dolphin players kneeled last week during the national anthem to protest the unaccountable police murders of black US citizens.

The Broward County Police Benevolent Association rushed to cut off its nose to spite its face by announcing that it will no longer be part of the Dolphin’s discount ticket program. Now if a cop wants to go to a game, he has to pay full price.

Those who rule us want all protests to occur on an isolated street corner where police can taser and beat the protester without any public notice. They do not want protests at football games where there are tens of thousands of people watching in the stands and millions on television. In such a visible venue, the police cannot taser and beat the protesters.

Moveover, the protests get noticed and cause Americans to wonder what has happened that is so disturbing that black professional athletes risk their highly paid livelihoods for the sake of a public protest. Colin Kaepernick, who originated the protests was fired as quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers for exercising his constitutional rights and has been blacklisted by rich NFL team owners.

Another Day, Another Leftist Attempt to Censor Conservative Thought

The modern-day left’s battle against intellectual diversity on college campuses continues. Last week at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, a three-person approval committee denied use of a venue to Burton Folsom on the grounds that Folsom’s presentation was not "academic" in nature and would not attract a broad enough audience to allow him to speak in the McKay Atrium of the campus, a large centrally located venue at Davidson.

It’s important to understand just who Burton Folsom is. Folsom is a distinguished fellow and professor emeritus at Hillsdale College. He has written more than a dozen books mainly on economic history, which include the titles Entrepreneurs vs. The State, The Myth of the Robber Barons, and New Deal or Raw Deal?: How FDR’s Economic Legacy has Damaged America. He has an M.A. from the University of Nebraska and a doctorate in history from the University of Pittsburgh. He has served as an associate at the Free Enterprise Institute as well as the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. Very few professors at Davidson can match Folsom’s credentials or his prolific publishing success.

Even with these bona fides, the three-person panel denied the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) request to have Folsom speak at the McKay Atrium. “[The McKay Atrium] is reserved for more academic related events that are campus wide and attract a broad audience,” said an e-mail from the committee which denied the request.

YAF spokesman Spencer Brown stated, “Students, alumni, trustees and administrators should be concerned that the powers that be have decided scholarship is subject to a rigid ideological test where liberals win and conservatives are shoved to the edge of the campus."

IS AMERICA STILL A NATION?

In the first line of the Declaration of Independence of July 4, 1776, Thomas Jefferson speaks of “one people.” The Constitution, agreed upon by the Founding Fathers in Philadelphia in 1789, begins, “We the people …”

And who were these “people”?

In Federalist No. 2, John Jay writes of them as “one united people … descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs. …”

If such are the elements of nationhood and peoplehood, can we still speak of Americans as one nation and one people?

The CIA has a Long History of Helping to Kill Leaders Around the World

Some of the most notorious of the CIA’s operations to kill world leaders were those targeting the late Cuban president, Fidel Castro. Attempts ranged from snipers to imaginative plots worthy of spy movie fantasies, such as the famous exploding cigars and a poison-lined scuba-diving suit.

But although the CIA attempts proved fruitless in the case of Castro, the US intelligence agency has since 1945 succeeded in deposing or killing a string of leaders elsewhere around the world – either directly or, more often, using sympathetic local military, locally hired criminals or pliant dissidents.

According to North Korea’s ministry of state security, the CIA has not abandoned its old ways. In a statement on Friday, it accused that the CIA and South Korea’s intelligence service of being behind an alleged recent an assassination attempt on its leader Kim Jong-un.

The attempt, according to the ministry, involved “the use of biochemical substances including radioactive substance and nano poisonous substance” and the advantage of this was it “does not require access to the target (as) their lethal results will appear after six or 12 months”.

The person directly responsible was allegedly a North Korean working for the foreign intelligence agencies.

A CIA spokesman refused to comment on the allegations.
