SEN. SASSE: ‘IF YOU CAN’T SAY IT’S WRONG TO LEAVE BABIES TO DIE AFTER BIRTH, GET THE HELL OUT OF PUBLIC OFFICE’
“Get the hell out of public office” if you can’t condemn post-birth abortion, Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) said Wednesday, responding to Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s (D) comment in which he seemed to imply that the decision to abort a child could be made after birth under his new abortion bill.
In a statement denouncing Gov. Northam’s comment provided to CNSNews.com, Sen. Sasse bemoaned how quickly Democrats’ stance on abortion has deteriorated. Anyone, from any party, who can’t defend life after birth, is unfit for public office and should “get the hell out,” Sasse said in his statement:
“This is morally repugnant. In just a few years pro-abortion zealots went from ‘safe, legal, and rare’ to ‘keep the newborns comfortable while the doctor debates infanticide.’ I don’t care what party you’re from — if you can’t say that it’s wrong to leave babies to die after birth, get the hell out of public office.” — Senator Ben Sasse
Gov. Northam sparked outrage earlier in the day when he made the comments in an interview on local Washington, D.C. radio station WTOP, in which he described what would happen to a born-alive baby if his new bill is enacted:

Wall Street Journal, The Hill Publish Fake News Story About Roger Stone & Infowars
Stone settled a defamation lawsuit on Monday by agreeing to post a retraction of false statements made about Chinese businessman Guo Wengui. Stone obtained the information from former Trump aide Sam Nunberg, which turned out to be inaccurate.
The WSJ and the Hill stories suggest that Stone’s conduct in posting information to Infowars was “irresponsible,” when in fact Stone was talking about him believing Sam Nunberg to be irresponsible.
This is a crucial difference because the smear campaign is being used to further entrench the lie that Infowars is a “fake news” website.

TRUMP STUMPS CARAVAN: DOJ, DHS MOVE TO RESTRICT ASYLUM ELIGIBILITY FOR ILLEGALS
The DOJ and DHS announced new policies Thursday restricting illegal aliens from asylum eligibility.
In an Interim Final Rule announced by Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, the Trump administration was granted broad authority to block asylum claims for people who violate US immigration laws.
“Consistent with our immigration laws, the President has the broad authority to suspend or restrict the entry of aliens into the United States if he determines it to be in the national interest to do so,” Whitaker and Nielsen said in a joint statement.
“Today’s rule applies this important principle to aliens who violate such a suspension or restriction regarding the southern border imposed by the President by invoking an express authority provided by Congress to restrict eligibility for asylum. Our asylum system is overwhelmed with too many meritless asylum claims from aliens who place a tremendous burden on our resources, preventing us from being able to expeditiously grant asylum to those who truly deserve it. Today, we are using the authority granted to us by Congress to bar aliens who violate a Presidential suspension of entry or other restriction from asylum eligibility.”
A Justice Department press release cites a section from the Immigration and Nationality Act which state the attorney general “may provide by regulation for any other conditions or limitations on the consideration of an application for asylum.”
The administration is hoping the new rules will encourage people planning on entering the US illegally to instead use ports of entry where can be formally processed.

MAN CAUGHT PAYING OFF KAVANAUGH PROTESTERS WORKS FOR SOROS-FUNDED ORGANIZATION
The man who was caught on camera paying off protesters who disrupted the Judge Brett Kavanaugh hearings has been identified as working for a Soros-funded organization.
As we reported yesterday, three doctors said they personally witnessed protesters being paid off before the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing.
“One thing was there were people who had come along… who had a bag of money, and people would hand them a piece of paper, and then they would give them money. So we know money was exchanged for some of the people to be here, just to protest,” said Dr. Tom Schlueter.
One of the women caught on camera being paid off was later seen being ejected from the hearings after demonstrators caused a disruption.
It has now emerged that the man seen paying off the woman works for a left-wing activist organization funded by billionaire globalist George Soros.
“The man handing money to the Kavanaugh hearing protester is Vinay Krishnan. Consultant/organizer at Center for Popular Democracy,” tweeted Nick Monroe.

Tech Giants’ Ban on Alex Jones May Be Having the Opposite Effect
Last week’s purge of Alex Jones and InfoWars from Apple (iTunes), Facebook, YouTube (Google), and Spotify seems to have had an unexpected side effect. Upon the news that Jones was being removed from many of the top Internet platforms, subscriptions to his InfoWars app have skyrocketed. Ironically, the app has been listed on Google Play and iTunes as one of the top downloaded apps of last week.
“The good news is InfoWars has had the highest traffic it’s ever had — 5.6 million new subscribers in the past 48 hours — and so has my radio show,” Jones told the Daily Mail. “De-platforming doesn’t do anything —we already have the subscribers —it doesn’t do very much.”
Since the initial purge last Monday, several other tech companies have jumped on the dump-Alex-Jones bandwagon. Stitcher, a podcast app, had already banned Jones on August 2. Pinterest removed Jones’ and InfoWars’ content on August 6, followed by professional networking site LinkedIn and e-mail messaging platform MailChimp on August 7.
Interestingly, Twitter has not yet moved to ban Jones or InfoWars from its site. In a series of tweets on August 7, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey explained his reasons for keeping Jones around: “We didn’t suspend Alex Jones or InfoWars yesterday. We know that’s hard for many but the reason is simple: he hasn’t violated our rules. We’ll enforce if he does. And we’ll continue to promote a healthy conversational environment by assuring tweets aren’t artificially amplified.”
